Since 1993, the Global Retreat Centre at Nuneham House (administered by The Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University UK) has welcomed thousands of people from across the world. They come to restore balance and focus to their life through solitude, silence and the study of spiritual values. Tucked away in the rolling countryside of Oxfordshire just outside of Oxford, surrounded by 55 acres of historical gardens and overlooking the river Thames, Nuneham Park is the perfect location to step away from the frantic pace of modern living, and to rediscover your inner peace and power.
Peace Village is a nonprofit, volunteer community created for learning and contemplation. For more than 20 years we’ve been helping people understand spiritual principles, experience inner peace and build spiritual capacity. Sitting on Catskill Mountains in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley, Peace Village welcomes thousands annually who come for silence, learning or a chance to serve – sometimes on the 300-acre grounds, sometimes in the 6 lodges where we accommodate guests or sometimes in the labrynth or Peace Park.
Since 2023, the Call of the Time dialogues have taken place at the Arma Museum & Resort in Bali. Arma Museum & Resort is nestled in beautiful Balinese gardens, embodying a blend of tradition,
art, culture, and a serene lifestyle.

In India, the Call of the Time retreat takes place in Gyan Sarovar, a large complex that hosts thousands of visitors. It is also known as the Academy for a Better World. Opened in 1996 as part of The Brahma Kumaris 60 years celebration, the building of Gyan Sarovar involved the construction a complete village complex on 25 acres of land about 4km from the original Madhuban campus. Thousands of fruit tress have been planted in and around Gyan Sarovar.
The campus incorporates several environmental sustainability features: solar water heating for bathing water; a solar array that generates steam for cooking; a 10Kw hybrid wind-solar-diesel system with battery bank that ensures a 24 hour power supply to the telephone and audio-visual; a plant capable of treating 200,000 litres of waste water (generated by kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities) such that nearly 80% is available for re-use; and waste separation and support for local re-cycling practices).
